Utica Club Voted 4th Best Cheap Beer In America

Are you a fan of Utica Club beer? Well you're not alone. According to a recent survey, Utica Club was voted one of the best cheap beers in America. 

Will Gordon from DeadSpin evaluated 36 cheap beers from across the country, and Utica Club placed fourth. Not too bad right?

This has a fair bit going on, flavor-wise, which is risky business. Less is usually much more in this price category, but UC is the rare cheapie that pulls off its dangerous ambition. This Central New Yorker’s unique vegetal maltiness is much better than the phrase “unique vegetal maltiness” suggests. I’ll never write their marketing copy, but I’ll always drink their beer."

Who got number one? According to the Times Union that honor went to Grain Belt Premium.
