Urgent Call In CNY From The Red Cross For Blood Donors

The Red Cross says there have been 15 thousand fewer donations than last week due to July 4th falling on a Wednesday, "We are having a busy summer, and that put seven more stress for the reserves and trigger the call for donors."

The Utica Blood Donation Center on Commercial Drive is there to donate blood without waiting for a drive to be called. The Commercial Drive location may be the easiest for most people. Additional locations in Oneida County and Rome are listed below.

Chances are you will be lucky and never have the need for blood, but when you do we want to make sure the blood is there for you.
