After receiving a frantic call about an elderly woman "frozen to death" in a car, Hudson, New York police broke the car's window and opened the passenger side door.  What they found was a mannequin that looked very realistic.

The Times Union reports that the car had been parked overnight in sub-freezing temperatures, and the mannequin was wearing an oxygen mask, glasses, and even had skin blemishes.  It turns out the car's owner is a sales manager for a company that sells medical training devices.  He told police that he sometimes takes the dummy in his car.

Hudson police said the man was rude and vulgar to the sergeant who broke into the car.  They added that if someone parks a car on a street on a freezing night with a life-sized mannequin seated in it, the window will be broken.
