For the first time in 15 years, Cornell men's hockey ranks number 1 in both USCHO Division I Men's Hockey Poll and the USA Today/Hockey Magazine.

In addition, Cornell Hockey owns the number one spot for the best winning percentage of .881 and currently riding the nation's longest active  streak of 10 games for a record of 9-0-1

Cornell is coming off a pair of victories on the road last weekend at Harvard and Dartmouth and walking away with the program's 22nd Ivy title in the process.

Cornell's climb to number 1 in the USCHO poll is a first for the program since March of 2003 just before the Big Red of Cornell rolled into an NCAA tournament that landed them in the National Semifinals.

To say the least, this team is on fire and is showing no signs of slowing down and that has to be in the minds of the team from Union and Rensselaer. The next two teams the Big Red faces this weekend.
