Since 2007, there has always been a new Assassin's Creed game on store shelves since the very first one was released. Fans of the franchise have flocked to any retailer to buy the new game. It seems because of this, Ubisoft feels that an Assassin's Creed game every year will be both a profitable and good idea.

Montreal Boss Yannis Mallet felt that if the new games have quality game play and great graphics, players will buy the new games every year.

According to Gamespot:

"It's our breakthrough. When you have quality content, the frequency of coming out with the game is not an issue at all. On the contrary, people expect more and more of that content," Mallat added. "So it's natural to be able to provide that content. The gamers are happy and it's our job to make them happy."

If gamers continue to buy, play and love each and every new Assassin's Creed game, it could rival the other gaming franchises that also release a game every year. The newest Assassin's Creed is Scheduled to release this October.
