If you head to the Sangertown Square Mall for lunch, you'll find two less options for dining. Two restaurants - one that opened as recently as August - are now closed, leaving customers with gift certificates unsure how to proceed.

Cafe Wasabi - which offered sushi and Asian-fusion cuisine, and Kraze Burgers, which served Korean-influenced burgers are both closed. We've reached out to representatives from Sangertown Square Mall and they declined to comment.

Both restaurants are already removed from the mall's website.

One holder of a Cafe Wasabi gift certificate, Carla, says she's unsure what to do with her Christmas present. "So much for the gift certificate I got for Christmas for Cafe Wasabi! Hope they refund my money!"

We have reached out to several officials for more information. As further details become available, we will update this story.

UPDATE: 1/3/2018 12:52 pm: The Kraze Burger restaurant franchise website, krazeburgersus.com, says there are currently 4 other locations in the United States: Syracuse in Destiny USA, Mannasas, Virginia in the Mannasas Mall, and Baltimore, Maryland in the BWI Airport. We were able to confirm that - with the exception of the BWI Airport location - have also recently closed.
