Don't forget to 'fall back' on Sunday, November 1st, and change your batteries in the smoke detectors.

On Sunday, November 1, 2015, at 2:00 AM we turn the clocks back one hour to Sunday, November 1, 2015, 1:00 AM local standard time. Sunrise and sunset will be about 1 hour earlier on Nov 1, 2015, than the day before. There will be more light in the morning.

Some people like to use this time to start a new hobby, exercise routine or quit a bad habit. It's also a good time to change your batteries in your smoke detectors.

Does Daylight-Saving Time affect us? It's certainly easier to gain an hour of sleep versus losing an hour of sleep. Most of the studies show adverse effects in the spring when we lose an hour of sleep. The studies show an increased risk of traffic accidents, workplace accidents, heart attacks, and suicide.
