After thousands of years in the dark, Munson Williams Proctor Arts Institute is shedding light on their new Shadow of the Sphinx art exhibit that is on display from now until November 25th. One of the pieces is a replica of a throne found in King Tut's tomb, the placard above it reads:

Imagine yourself as a regal ancient Egyptian and take a picture of you and your friends enthroned like Pharaoh.

Well, myself and Jeanette Lenoir from our sister station WIBX decided to take them up on their offer, how cool it was to sit there and imagine what it would've been like, although a throne room and subjects and an Egyptian costume might've helped our imaginations along a little further!

Make sure you stop out to take pictures in the chair and don't forget to check out the rest of the exhibit on display until just after Thanksgiving.
