Hopefully, your holidays are filled with peace and joy, not stress and family difficulty. Be on your best behavior and don't forget your manners!

Thanksgiving. A time to count your blessings and enjoy a feast with friends and family. We can get lackadaisical around our dinner table, but today is a special day! Here are ten reminders of how you should behave at the Thanksgiving celebration in no particular order.

  1. Don't blow your nose at the table.
  2. No talking with your mouth full.
  3. Put that cell phone away, better yet turn it off.
  4. No elbows on the table.
  5. Bring a gift for the hostess.
  6. Use your fork and knife correctly.
  7. Salt and pepper stick together. Don't pass one without the other.
  8. Don't arrive early or expect to use the oven - prime real estate.
  9. If you drink, do it with dignity.
  10. Don't forget to be gracious and say thank-you.
