Thin Lizzy Guitarist Dies
Former Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore died yesterday. He was 58. Moore was found dead inside his room at the luxury Kempinski Resort Hotel in Estepona, a town in Southern Spain’s Costa del Sol. The cause of death has yet to be determined. Moore joined Thin Lizzy in 1973, after guitarist Eric Bell’s departure, but only played with the band for four months. Four years later, Moore returned to the group, playing on their “Black Rose” album.
