The Who‘s new documentary, ‘The Who: Quadrophenia – Can You See the Real Me?’ The Story Behind the Album,’ will make it to theaters this summer.

Fathom Events, who have been great in bringing many music-themed concerts and films to the big screen, will air the documentary for one night only in theaters July 24. The film will air at 8:00PM local time in theaters.

The movie takes an in-depth look at the period in which the band recorded the influential 1973 album. It includes never-before-seen stories from the band, including the highly publicized onstage collapse of drummer Keith Moon during the tour’s first show, and additional performances of songs from the album including the chart-topping epic ‘Love Reign O’er Me.’

Tickets and a complete listing of participating movie theaters can be found at the Fathom Events website. In addition, those who attend the event will be able to order the ‘Quadrophenia – Director’s Cut’ box set with a free t-shirt for the special price of $99.98 for a limited time. The set includes four CDs that feature Pete Townshend‘s original demos, the DVD, and a hardback book among other special features.

The box set is available exclusively here. You can find a theater showing the film near you here.
