The Story Of The Incredible Walking Man Takes A Turn For The Worse

Just a couple of weeks ago, this guy, James Robertson of Detroit MI was an internet sensation.  Everybody soon knew about the guy that was walking 20 miles a day to work, never missing a day, even in the snow and cold.

When America got a hold of his story, the donations came pouring in from all over the country, and eventually enough money was raised to buy James a new car.

After the story faded, reality set in for the Michigan native.  People started showing up out of nowhere, looking for a handout, and when James didn’t deliver, he started receiving threats of violence.

Take a look at this new story.  It is certainly sad when it comes to a point where a man has to relocate to a secret location to protect himself.  What kind of world do we live in where the entitlement culture has become so mainstream?

I was really hoping that we, as Americans, would have learned a bit more from this story.  The guy walked 20 miles a day to work, for crying out loud, and this how he is repaid?
