The Insane Inflatable 5K: A Runner’s Perspective
Everybody is talking about it, and it will be here before you know it; It's the Insane Inflatable 5K and it's going to be a blast!
If you don't consider yourself to be an athlete, I have some timely news for you: You should sign up for this fun and crazy race today because you don't have to be a runner or a fitness freak to participate and finish this one of kind race. The event isn't timed so there's no need to feel pressured or self-conscious.
I have several friends who are avid joggers and they run at least 5 days a week. Many of them have run the Insane Inflatable before, and they all agree that you don't have to be a gym rat or cardio maniac to participate in this race. They described the overall feel of the race as fun, and party like. According to Insane Inflatable's website:
Get ready to experience the most fun, wild and insane obstacle run in the world. Get “pumped up” for a course filled with the world’s largest and most extreme inflatable obstacles ever produced. Here’s your chance to be a kid at heart, and insane by choice!
My runner friends also mentioned to me that the Insane Inflatable didn't have many after affects. In other words, often after a traditional 5K race, many of them experience sore muscles and achy knees from the constant pavement pounding. This race course has a grass surface so there's way less wear and tear on your body.
Round up your friends, family, and co-workers and come on out and have some fun at the Lafayette Apple Festival Grounds located just outside Syracuse. Race day is Saturday September 26th.
