The Indie Garage Sale–A Great Place to Find Unique Items
If you don't like to get your friends and family gifts from big box stores, The Indie Garage Sale is the perfect place to shop. When I go, I find the coolest stuff. For example, at the last Indie Garage Sale (the Holiday 2012 sale), I bought a fork bracelet. Yes, a bracelet made from a fork! Who knew that even existed? There are tons of unique items at great prices at the annual Indie Garage Sale. So, if you're looking for that perfect, one-of-a-kind gift, you don't have to wait much longer for the Spring 2013 Indie Garage Sale--it's just a few weeks away.
What exactly is the Indie Garage Sale? According to the official website under the FAQ section,
"We are a craft show, made up of independent artists and crafters. Our name stems from the beginning days where we wanted to hold a garage sale and also sell our crafts. We no longer sell non-handmade items, however."
The Spring 2013 Indie Garage Sale is going to have a lot of vendors. There's almost anything you can imagine being sold at this special garage sale. There's handmade pottery, woodworking, jewelry, clothes, artwork, food, and so much more. For a full list of vendors, click here.
So, when is the Spring 2013 Indie Garage Sale happening? It's taking place April 13 and 14 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will be at the Jewish Community Center at 2310 Oneida Street in Utica. Admission is free.
