If you are like me you enjoy going to a fine restaurant to eat during the holiday season. There are a few things you can do to keep yourself from eating way too much. As we head into a new year here are some tips that will keep you from joining over eaters anonymous.1.  Take Half- Portions tend to be huge these days, just ask for half to be wrapped up before it is even brought to the table.

2.  Forget the bread- Just ask your waiter not to bring any bread to the table.

3.  Liquid weight- You can do with out the empty calories, no alcohol or sugary drinks.

4.  Dessert- Order only one dessert for the whole table. You will feel a lot better knowing you can still walk out of the place with you pants still buttoned up.
