Learn the difference between the Balsam Fir, Frazier Fir, and Douglas Fir.

Have you ever gone to get your Christmas tree and found yourself very confused with all the different types? Well, that won't happen again because Michael Joseph from North Star Orchard shows us the difference between the most popular Christmas trees.

Balsam Fir: The most fragrant and holds onto their needles well.

Frazier fir: A lot of fragrance with a stiffer branch and the famous blue undercoat. This is a superior tree with almost no needle shedding if cared for properly.

Douglas Fir: The true old fashion Christmas tree. This tree has the perfect shape with lots of dense branches. This is a nice choice to put up on Christmas Eve and take out on New Years Day as it doesn't hold on to its needles very well.

The first thing to do when you get home with your tree is water it and water it every day!
