You may not be familiar with the "Teddy Toss," but you will after watching this.

The Calgary Hitmen, of the Western Hockey League, recently hosted its annual "Teddy Toss Night," in which fans throw stuffed animals after the home team scores its first goal of the game.

After Jordy Stallard lit up the red light, the fans did their part, with nearly 29,000 bears raining down on the ice.

It was an incredible scene. And, in the spirit of the season, all of the stuffed animals will go to charity. Amazingly, there was more than one toy per person at the game -- good enough for a historic effort -- according to the team:
