Take A Look At Enchanted Forest In 1971 Before ‘Water Safari’

Do you remember when 'Enchanted Forest Water Safari' was just Enchanted Forest? This video will take you back.

A video recently surfaced online on News 8 WROC's Facebook page of a guest of the park taking a video camera onto Enchanted Forest's Skyride.

Most of the familiar sights were there in the early 70's, including Paul Bunyan, the storybook lane and of course the Enchanted Forest Express!

The obvious thing missing of course is the water slides. In the video, you can see where 'The Shadow' should be, but it's just an empty spot next to the undeveloped parking lot.

It's quite a difference form August 4, 1971 to today isn't it? Here's what some of those shots look like today:
