Edge of Tomorrow — the best summer blockbuster of 2014 — may have underwhelmed at the domestic box office, but it’s difficult to find anyone who actually watched it who didn’t have a great time with it. So when Tom Cruise starts teasing a potential sequel that will reunite him and Emily Blunt for another round of time-traveling, alien-shooting, heavy-armor-wearing, yoga-posing awesomeness, our ears perk up. Yes please, we would like an Edge of Tomorrow 2.

As we heard in June Top Gun 2 is in the works, but it sounds like there could be a glitch with Tom Cruise playing Maverick.

No one has ever been shy about putting Tom Cruise’s apparent death wish front and center whenever it’s time to promote a new Mission: Impossible movie. Like with previous entries in the series, most of the chatter surrounding Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation has revolved around the myriad of ways the franchise’s leading man put his life on the line for our entertainment. The new trailer puts many of his craziest stunts front and center, including that still-jaw-dropping shot of Cruise clinging to the the side of an airplane as it takes off. The movie’s message is clear: this man almost died for you. Reward him with strong box office receipts.

The new Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation trailer doesn’t offer up anything drastically different from the usual Mission: Impossible movie — Tom Cruise, shadowy government agents, an elegantly dressed woman kicking ass, insane stunts, an improbable task — but it does all those things (and does them all so well), it’s hard to not get excited for the upcoming fifth installment.

Mission: Impossible is a pretty action-packed film. But, for all its action, would you believe that Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hawke never once fires a gun? Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to check out the rest of the facts packed into the latest episode of You Think You Know Movies, which focuses on the original Mission: Impossible!

Just yesterday, we got our first real taste of Mission: Impossible 5 via a one-minute teaser trailer, but you should probably hold onto your seats because today brings the full trailer with even more Tom Cruise spy action and intrigue. Officially titled Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation, the fifth installment in the franchise sees Ethan Hunt and the crew going up against a team of what are essentially anti-IMF agents, put together to bring Hunt’s organization down.

The first Mission: Impossible 5 trailer has arrived and it contains all of the high-flying derring-do you’ve come to expect from this series. It also reveals the actual title of the movie: Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation, which is almost as good as Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol in the “awesomely silly spy title” category.

Every single film production hits snags and runs into problems. Some are just a little more public than others. Now, the troubles facing the upcoming Mission: Impossible 5 have become public and they certainly sound bad on paper: Production has been temporarily shut down while director Christopher McQuarrie rushes to fix what is apparently an “unsatisfactory” ending. That’s an ominous sign for a movie that recently had its release date pushed up from December to July.

Your mission if you choose to accept it: save ‘Mission: Impossible 5’ from being trampled by ‘Star Wars: Episode 7’ at the box office. Mission complete. While ‘Mission: Impossible 5’ was originally set to open this Christmas, just one week after the juggernaut that is ‘Star Wars’, Paramount has wisely thought this over and moved the new Ethan Hunt adventure up to this July.

We weren't altogether surprised to learn that TV powers would look to develop Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise's 'Minority Report' as an ongoing series, considering the pantheon of movie-TV reboots, but consider our interest piqued. Not only will the new series unfold on FOX, but as a sequel series to the original film with a female lead!

Remember the Spielberg directed film, starring Tom Cruise, that came out in 2002 called ‘Minority Report’?  Sci-Fi at it’s finest in this guy’s opinion.

We're only a little over a week away from the release of 'Edge of Tomorrow,' and unlike most of this summer's releases, Warner Bros. has been a little more conservative with the amount of clips and footage they've put out so far -- which makes any new footage we get a chance to see that much sweeter. And these latest clips look pretty, pretty, pretty cool.
