The newest installment of the Star Trek saga (or rather 'older' given it's prequel trilogy status) is coming out on May 17th of this coming year (Happy Birthday to me!) but they've just released the first trailer today that isn't even scheduled to hit the web until another week and a half from now!

'Star Trek: Into Darkness' doesn't hit theaters until May of next year, but fans are more than looking forward to seeing the much talked about first footage, said to premiere along with screenings of 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' come December 14.
