Anyone at Saranac Brewery Friday got quite the surprise when Kelsey Grammer stopped by.

The F.X. Matt Brewery is looking for your help. The city of Utica's beloved Utica Club sign needs to be restored and updated for safety reasons. They have posted a survey asking for the public's opinion on the matter.

This is a very awesome drink, especially for vodka lovers who enjoy ginger beer.  It's made with Utica's own Saranac 1888 Ginger Beer.  It's best served in a copper mug, which is totally American as the colonists used copper mugs for their drinks...

One of the most important ingredients in any beer is hops. Not only do hops assist in flavoring the beer, but there are many other purposes that contribute to a beer's quality. One local farm has been growing and harvesting this valuable crop for Saranac for several years and the harvest has become an annual party and you are invited!

Saranac is saying goodbye to it's Black Forest beer, but it may not be forever.

One of the biggest events of the Summer for the City of Utica is Saranac Thursdays. It's a place where friends and family can gather to enjoy good times, great beer, and some sweet music. Not many people realize however, that this is not a big money maker for Saranac, but is actually the biggest fund-raiser of the year for the local United Way chapter.

It's hard to believe it's already the third Saranac Thursday of the year. One of the most important jobs at this party is the pouring of the beers. The task of serving ice cold and refreshing Saranac beers to thirsty patrons is a coveted position that is more popular than you may think!
