An elaborate opening ceremony lasting more than three hours marked the start of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia on Friday.

It's Olympics Month and before we get judgmental because our favorite skier misses a gate or our fave ice-skater flubs a jump or one of the best goalies in the world happens to let a puck on by, don't forget that our heroes are human and they had to start somewhere.
