Fresh off his first NL MVP award, Milwaukee Brewers’ star outfielder Ryan Braun is in hot water after testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug, and he could be hit with a 50-game suspension at the start of the 2012 campaign. Braun maintains that he’s innocent of the charge.
The Baseball Writers’ Association of America voted Milwaukee Brewers’ outfielder Ryan Braun National League MVP. He edged out Los Angeles Dodger Matt Kemp after lifting the club to the Central Division title, and Braun’s teammate, pending free agent Prince Fielder, finished third.
