One of the most beautiful cities you'll find in the Adirondacks is Lake Placid. Recently the Olympic town where the famous phrase "Do You Believe In Miracles!" was coined in the sports world, Lake Placid was named one of the Best Places to Live in America.
With all the controversy on the Confederate Flag lately it has me thinking: Do we have anything in New York state that could be considered offensive to American history? Would one of these sites in our state be the John Brown Farm State Historic site located in Lake Placid?
You think it was cold here in Central New York on February 16th, wait till you find out how cold the wind chill was up north at Whiteface Mountain! They recorded record wind chill temperatures of -110.
Over the weekend I was blessed by my wife who surprised me with a weekend getaway to Lake Placid. It was past peak for the fall foliage, but we were still able to capture amazing photos. Check out what we got to see:
