The Oneida County Farm Service Agency is urging agricultural producers to report losses following the Mohawk Valley flooding. Central New York farmers have undoubtedly suffered significant losses as entire crops were swept away by flood waters.
Although officials are grateful for the help that they are receiving from everyone in the Mohawk Valley, public safety authorities speaking for the City of Oneida are asking non-residents to steer clear of the area unless directly involved in the clean-up efforts.

I didn't see anybody building a large watercraft and collecting animals in pairs but the rain just won't stop in Central New York. Streams, rivers and most bodies of water in Central New York are freely flowing over their banks. Flooding closed several area schools today not to mention a number of roads.
