A world full of daydream believers is mourning the death of the Monkees' Davy Jones today (Feb. 29). As soon as news of his heart attack and passing at age 66 hit the internet, Jones' musical peers and fans took to Twitter to express their love for the '60s pop-rock star. Slash, Dee Snider and the Who were among the musicians paying their respects and remembering their interactions with Jones. Modern day renaissance man Chris Jericho also offered some interesting 'Star Trek' based trivia about the singer, and comedian Patton Oswalt offered a hopeful if joking plan to keep more than his spirit alive.
