Dave from Brewery Ommegang stopped by on their tour of Central New York to introduce us to a couple new brews.  Of course, we were very glad to sample these fine craft beers.

PLAY BALL!!! When you hear that it's also time to scope out the menu at the ballpark. It's not just peanuts popcorn and cracker jacks any more. Our taste buds have evolved. We now crave foot long corn dogs, 8lb burgers and a grilled cheese with 9 different kinds of cheese.

Craft beer and Valentine's Day?  Does that match sound like a great idea?  Or does the idea of craft beer make you gag?

Recently, the New York State Fair held its annual "Homebrew Competition", soliciting a number of beers from homebrewers. And the winning brew will be bottled by the F.X. Matt Brewing Company.

Coming next Saturday to the Stanley Theater is the biggest craft brew sampling event that the City of Utica has ever seen. It's called 'Utica On Tap' and Greg McShea, your afternoon host here on 96.1 has been all about beer since having it in his baby bottle it seems.
