For Beth Boshart and Greg Lowe it has been a long streak of bad luck. Greg is a local artist who specializes in wood carvings. Every sculpture he does is by hand, and in many cases has sentimental value. One latest streak of bad luck came in the form of theft. Three of his carvings were stolen from the front yard of his North Utica home.
The youngest rookie in the Ithaca Police Department is Officer Colin Toland. He is the brave 9-year-old boy who has been battling cancer most of his life. He was sworn in earlier in the month. He reported for duty for the first time on Wednesday at the Ithaca Police Department...
On September 12, 2016 at 11:30 am 9 year-old Colin Toland was sworn-in as the newest police officer for the Ithaca Police Department. Officer Toland took the oath of office in front of 150 fellow police officers, firefighters, and EMS workers. Officer Toland was joined by approximately 300 people from the greater Ithaca community as well as his entire 4th grade class at Northeast Elementary School

Lexi Brown is a 12-year-old girl who is battling a sarcoma, which is a cancer that has spread to her lungs. During her time at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA in California she made friends with an unlikely group. From her room she could see the fraternity house of UCLA's Sigma Alpha Epsilon. After one pizza delivery, the guys were hooked and Lexi had a new support group.
