Survivors seem to be dropping like flies and none of them are wearing yellow bandanas and this episode was no different, when all is said and done Tandang remains as yet untarnished with all original members, while Kalabaw is down another member to four now. Time for a merger to a single tribe?

With both tribes getting low on food, this episode began with a reward challenge and a table-full of mouth-watering food at stake. Both teams had to roll a giant wicker/bamboo ball across a mud pit to the other team's goal and first tribe to three goals got the food. So both tribes were so evenly matched during this glorified mud-wrestling match that they reached a standstill with the ball going nowhere for a full hour. Covered in mud and exhausted from grappling they decided to negotiate. Tandang was clean out of rice so the conditions were that they'd concede to Kalabaw for the win if the red tribe forked over what was left of their rice. Their was some dissension in the ranks on both sides but ultimately the trade went through which got Mike in trouble with his tribe as he and Jeff were championing the cause. I was screaming at the TV because this was a win-win for both tribes yet people on both sides were whining over it. Here's what Kalabaw got to enjoy...

Back at the other camp, everyone's pretty pissed at Mike again, so much so that I was anxious for them to win the Immunity Challenge so he wouldn't get hacked as it seems like it's between he and R.C. going bye-bye should they ever lose. Thankfully they didn't and even though Kalabaw had a former pro ball player on their team, Malcolm pulled out the win for the yellow team and they once again enjoy immunity and don't even know what the inside of Tribal Council looks like.

Kalabaw needs to decide who to boot and it looks like either Penner or Katie who's head was on the chopping block last week too. Jon decides not to play his immunity idol and turns out it was a great choice as Katie was unanimously booted. Oh well, back to her makeup and runways.... Four left, do they merge next week or is Tandang do for a loss? If they lose again, my vote goes for Carter as he seems to not be contributing much and looks like he's zoning out most of the time, much less when he opens his mouth not much of any substance comes out...

Tandang wins again but their internal squabbling is tearing them apart and it'll be interesting to see how next week shakes out. My boy Mike may not make it far or maybe that's just some clever editing on the part of the producers, we shall see. Kalabaw's allaince is still intact but somebody's gonna get a huge surprise at next Tribal should they lose again. Check out the preview and I'll see ya back here next time!

This week's Insider Question:

"Are the cast members ever alone? "

Answer: "No. Producers and camera operators stay at their camps all day and all night — in part to make sure they don't miss footage, but also to ensure the cast's safety. They work nearby in off-limits, camouflaged areas known as camera camps, where there are cots, food, and equipment storage. Those camps are very primitive when compared to base camp, however, and tribe camp crews work different shifts, so they return to base camp and are not always living out of the camera camps. At Exile Island, a producer with a camera stays with the exiled cast member."
