The Stevens-Swan Humane Society desperately needs our help with donations of cat food and supplies as 39 cats/kittens were dropped off at the shelter on Saturday.

Saturday, April 21, 36 kittens ranging from 3 to 11 weeks old and only 3 moms were left at the humane society on 5664 Horatio St. in Utica, according to their Facebook page, "the mama cats were almost completely dried up of milk because they are feeding so many. All are thin and show signs of poor nutrition. Most are on antibiotics and are very happy to have a constant food source. 3 of the 11-week old kittens have been adopted, all others will come available as they grow and are fully healthy."

  • Homes will be needs for all the cats and kittens as they are at capacity.
  • If you can't adopt, they are in need of supplies and food (young ones do best on pate variety, any brand) to care for the cats and kittens. Stevens-Swan is currently caring for 180 felines.
