One of the most iconic voices that rock music has ever known HAS RETURNED. Steve Perry, who fronted Journey, a band who thought enough of his vocals to hire an exact sound-a-like in place of him, is coming out of hiding. He took off in the mid-nineties and hasn't seen the stage until Sunday night, popping up randomly at an Eels show in Minnesota during their encore. Here's the footage of that moment in it's entirety. Of course a man of 65 doesn't have the voice anymore that he did in his 20's and 30's, so the keys have all been dropped, but you can hear his signature tone and vibrato easy... Here's the man himself singing 'Open Arms':
