"The Office" is currently in the middle of its final season. There has been plenty of rumors floating around on how the show will end. Many have wondered if Mr. Michael Scott himself Steve Carell would make a cameo appearance on the series finale. The answer is no.

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Carell spilled his feelings on that matter. Truthfully he doesn't think it makes sense for his character to return.

"I just didn't think it was right . . . because that character had had an arc within the story and kind of grew and sort of evolved past the idea of the documentary."

Carell might not be seen on film, but he does plan on returning to see the cast.

“I’m really good friends with everybody on the cast and with [executive producer] Greg Daniels and I want to go back to say, ‘Hi,’ certainly, before it all ends, but I just thought, in terms of the character, it didn’t make sense.”

That's why Steve Carell is truly an amazing actor. He defiantly thinks about the characters he plays, and the show, before himself. He knows it wouldn't make sense and it may ruin the great ending for the show. We give props to Steve.
