The Herkimer County Humane Society (HCHS) says Fawn has improved enough to move into a foster home.

That's some encouraging news from HCHS! The Assistant Manager, Joann Johnson, tells us that being transferred into foster care doesn't mean Fawn is out of the woods by any means, but it is a small victory.

Fawn, the emaciated dog, was brought to the HCHS on Friday, January 18, 2019, after wandering into a man's back yard in Frankfort on Litchfield St. He then brought her to HCHS. They are doing everything possible to save her life.

The Frankfort Police have been contacted and are currently following leads looking for Fawns owner. If anyone has information regarding Fawn, please contact the Village of Frankfort PD at (315) 895-7566
