Starving Dog From Frankfort Moved Into Foster Home
The Herkimer County Humane Society (HCHS) says Fawn has improved enough to move into a foster home.

That's some encouraging news from HCHS! The Assistant Manager, Joann Johnson, tells us that being transferred into foster care doesn't mean Fawn is out of the woods by any means, but it is a small victory.
Fawn, the emaciated dog, was brought to the HCHS on Friday, January 18, 2019, after wandering into a man's back yard in Frankfort on Litchfield St. He then brought her to HCHS. They are doing everything possible to save her life.
The Frankfort Police have been contacted and are currently following leads looking for Fawns owner. If anyone has information regarding Fawn, please contact the Village of Frankfort PD at (315) 895-7566
If you would like to donate to HCHS, then please consider the Norma Keno Fund. It's a crises reserve for emergency situations like Fawn. All memorial donations directly help the homeless and abused animals at the Shelter and is a tribute and lasting memory to those of us who deeply care for animal welfare. Please send your gift to:
