One of the undeniable breakouts series of 2013, FOX's supernaturally spooky 'Sleepy Hollow' will return for another 13 episodes this coming fall, continuing Icabod (Tom Mison) and Abbie (Nicole Beharie)'s fight against the coming apocalypse. And while fall seems forever away, stars and producer dropped a mythology's worth of new 'Sleepy Hollow' season 2 intel from the recent PaleyFest panel.

You're warned of spoilers for the FOX drama's first season finale from here on out, but suffice to say, viewers were in for quite a shock to learn that not only was season 1 guest star John Noble's Henry Parrish secretly the horseman War, but also Icabod and Katrina's long-lost son, Jeremy Crane! And while Abbie remains trapped in Moloch's purgatory for the moment, Henry/Jeremy/War will continue to gather his forces, including monsters and "amazing foot soldiers" both new, and familiar, according to producers.

All hope is not lost, however, as producer Len Wiseman shared that the team would find a new use for the Horseman of Death's head. "One of the things we wanted to bring to light was who best to be an opponent for the Horseman and creating a new creature that actually our team kind of controls but doesn't -- a dangerous creation that Headless will have to come to face -- possibly with his own face."

Ichabod too was left with plenty on his plate to deal with, as executive producer Mark Goffman revealed the overriding journey of the season:

[Henry's] going to be in town. It's going to be a major presence in season two. It's a season about war, it's a season about redemption. What do you do when your son becomes the Horseman of War in the apocalypse? Ichabod is going to have to contemplate, assuming he gets out of the pine box he's in.

Shipping between the characters of course proved a furtive discussion during the panel, as Tom Mison claimed never to have heard the term before working on the series, while Orlando Jones advised him to Google "slash." One fan in the audience likened Mison's own clothes to the skinny jeans Ichabod had so memorably come to detest over the course of the series, while another posed whom the cast might like to see as either monsters, or future Horsemen. The short list? Oh, you know, Norman Reedus, Idris Elba, Tilda Swinton, Clint Eastwood, totally accessible names.

We'll learn plenty more of 'Sleepy Hollow''s second season in the coming months (we may even see John Cho's Andy again!), but for now, what say you? What would you like to see from Ichabod and Abbie some 'Sleepy Hollow' season 2?
