I have been a PBJ fan since I was a little kid, when I found it to be the alternative to mom’s tuna casserole, which contained many of those ingredients that made children wince.

When I became an adult, I discovered the awesome taste combination of salty and sweet.

Well, Skippy peanut butter has done it again with their new salted caramel flavor.  I need a jar of this, like, yesterday!  It’s a limited edition flavor at the moment, but if it does well enough, it may be a regular item like the traditional peanut butter.

The beauty of this is that you don’t have to add jelly to, well, unless you just really want to.  The salted caramel flavor blew me away when I first had it in the form of a frozen yogurt.

A lot of skeptics believe that Skippy has introduced this in haste, since it recently introduced other flavors like hazelnut, banana, honey roasted, and others.

I’m always open to new flavors, so I will certainly be looking for this during my next trip to the supermarket.
