Six Flags Is Buying Back Darien Lake Theme Park

First it was just Darien Lake, then it became a Six Flags theme park and then it reverted back and now it looks like the theme park with an apparent identity-crisis will once again be under the Six Flags name. The sale is expected to go through next month.

Regardless of the park name, riding the rickety Predator and the zippy Viper or being suspended from the Mind Eraser never gets old, not to mention tears streaming sideways on your face from pretending to be Superman on the Ride of Steel. The latter two of those are the only ones like them in the state and new this year is a ride called the Tantrum which features a BEYOND 90-degree drop straight down! Time to head back to Darien Lake!
