Most know Paul Anka from the late 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s with hit songs like “Diana,” “Lonely Boy,” “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” and “(You're) Having My Baby.” But did you know this?

• Paul Anka wrote the theme for “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.”
• Paul Anka wrote, “She's a Lady” for Tom Jones.
• Paul Anka wrote the English lyrics for Frank Sinatra's signature song, “My Way,” which has been covered by many including Elvis Presley.
