-The first Denny's opened in 1953 as "Danny's Coffee and Donuts."  The name was changed in 1959 to avoid confusion with another "Danny's" chain of coffee shops.

-The original Denny's had no locks on the doors, as they were open 24/7.

-You can eat healthy when you order from their Fit Fair Menu.

-On the value menu, you can order food for as low as $2.00.

-You get free food on your birthday.

-Kids eat free every Tuesday from 4 'til 10 p.m.
