Scooby Doo Hits The Small Screen This Week In 1969

Would you read this story for a scooby snack?Every Saturday morning Scooby along with Freddy, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy set off to solve another mystery.The cartoon debuted on September 13th, 1969 on CBS TV. The name Scooby Doo came from a CBS Exec who got it from the Frank Sinatra hit “Strangers In The Night”, where he sings the nonsense line “Scooby-dooby-doo.” New episodes still air in syndication, making it the longest animated series ever.
