Animal lovers will not be pleased with this.

Students in a cat dissection class at Harding Charter Preparatory High School in Oklahoma City got into hot water after they made a video in which they had dead cats dancing.

The students put on a choreographed performance, an act that enraged the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The school has elected to stop offering the class, although they may have a class in which a different animal is dissected.

PETA has applauded the school's decision to drop the program.

The school's principal had initially responded to the video by saying, “I think it was students who made a mistake and hopefully they'll learn from it."
