When Ryan first got to L.A. he, fortunately, hooked up with former 805 drummer Frank Briggs from Rome, who knew Ryans dad and this is what he recently told us about
Ryan:

"I'm a big fan of Ryan Quinn. When I first heard him on The Voice I was blown away. I never reach out to anyone, but in this case, I contacted Ryan's dad Mike and then Ryan to invite him to work on some music with me at my studio in Los Angeles. I wanted to get to know him as a person and see if we could hang. Ryan didn't disappoint me in the least. He is a world class talent that only needs the proper exposure and connections. The best part of it all is we became good friends during the process which has made the music we've been making that much more powerful and special. I have introduced him to some dear friends who also happen to be world class musicians and everyone loves him. I'm not a gambler, but if I were I would put everything I own on Ryan. He's a star in the making and maybe the finest young man I have ever met"

Ryan said he was very inspired by Chris Cornell. Like the rest of the world, Ryan was caught off guard and quite shaken by his death. Frank Briggs put those raw emotions to work by encouraging Ryan to play all the instruments for the song 'Say Hello To Heaven' as a tribute to Chris Cornell.
