Rome Mayor To Host ‘Java With Mayor Jackie’

Rome citizens who would like to get up close and personal with Mayor Jackie Izzo will have the chance on Saturday.

Izzo will host 'Java with Mayor Jackie' on October 29, at Spressos Coffe Shop in the Community Bank Financial Building at the Griffiss Business and Technology Park.

"During last year's campaign, I held a series of coffees to meet and greet local citizens," Izzo said. "These were so successful that I would like to bring them back periodically beginning this Saturday, October 29. Much like the ward walks, these coffees are designed for people to interact not only with the Mayor, but with some of our department heads to address any concerns or answer any questions that citizens might have, or simply just an opportunity to meet and visit with myself and other city staff."
