The Rolling Stones performed their 1971 classic Sticky Fingers during a secret club gig on May 20, and now fans everywhere can hear it for themselves: With zero fanfare, the band has put out Sticky Fingers Live, a digital-only release commemorating the performance.

Available now at iTunes, the album presents the Stones' low-profile show at the 1,200-seat Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, which served as a warm-up gig for their Zip Code tour. As previously reported, the celebrity-studded audience was treated to a 16-song set that included Sticky Fingers in its entirety — albeit with opening track "Brown Sugar" bumped to the back.

Prior to the official announcement of the tour, rumors swirled suggesting the Stones were considering performing the complete Sticky Fingers at every show, but those proved unfounded; as Mick Jagger pointed out, the album has "quite a few slow songs on it," which might have made for a sleepy night out for fans who just wanted to hear the greatest hits.

And there are still plenty of those fans, too: Billboard reports that the Stones have grossed roughly $360 million on tour since 2012, including the $52 million they've raked in during their Zip Code dates. While those shows continue, the band is looking to the future with a list of potential projects that includes a video release of the Fonda Theatre show and a possible new studio album.
