If you have an interest in kayaking, here's your chance to learn the basics of river and flat water kayaking.  Friends of Rogers and the Chenango County Cornell Cooperative Extension is holding the session this Saturday from 1 'til 3 p.m.

You'll be taught how to paddle, which equipment is needed and how to plan a trip.   Boaters must be at least 13, and if under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult.

Space is limited for Saturday's program, so you must pre-register.  The cost is $12 per person.  To register, click the link to Friends of Rogers, or call (607) 674-4733.
