He started hitting the pop charts back in the mid 60s as half of the duo Simon and Garfunkel. Together they would have numerous top 40 hits including three number ones.

Their last hit as a duo came in 1982, an Everly Brothers cover called Wake Up Little Susie. The song reached number 27 on the charts and was recorded in 1981 at their New York Central Park Concert. Paul would obviously be the most successful of the two with a whole lot of big solo hits like, Mother And Child Reunion, Kodachrome, Loves Me Like A Rock, 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover, and Slip Slidin Away. You can hear these and many other great songs when Dick Bartley spot lights Paul Simon Saturday night at seven on Oldiez 96.1.
