The New York State Department of Transportation has released a list of roads that are still closed from Saturday's devastating flooding.

In Oneida County:

Mohawk Street between Main Street and River Road in Marcy, River Street between Route 69 and Old River Road in Oriskany, and Route 233 between 12B and Route 412 are all closed.

In Herkimer County:

Route 171 between Litchfield Road and Furnace Road in Frankfort is closed and expectes to be long-term due to mudslides and debris.

The DOT has also inspected several bridges to make sure that they are structurally sound and they have been approved for re-opening. In Oneida County Route 233 over Deans Creek, Genesee Street over Sauquoit Creek, Route 69 over Sauquoit Creek and the Ramp from Route 69 to 5A over Sauquoit Creek are all open and have been found to be structurally secure.

Be sure to use caution when traveling in any areas with flood waters remaining.
