Ringo Starr Shines At Turning Stone June 25th

As the world's biggest fan of The Beatles (just listen to my "Fab Four At 4" on Oldiez 96.1 to see what I mean), I'm thrilled to learn the big news. Ringo Starr and The All Starr Band are coming to Turning Stone Resort Casino June 25th! Wow, let me catch my breath. Check out the details.

Ringo Starr and The All Starr Band will appear live in concert at The Event Center at Turning Stone Resort & Casino, June 25th at 8:00 p.m. According to sources I spoke with, tickets go on sale at Turning Stone, Friday, January 31st at 10:00 a.m. For ticket information, call: 800.771.7711. "Ringo Starr is having a moment. Fresh off his performance at the Grammy Awards and the taping of the upcoming CBS special about the 50th anniversary of the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show, he's now announced brand-new tour dates with his All-Starr Band.

This version of the band is the same lineup that Ringo's been playing with since 2012. It features Steve Lukather, best known for his work with Toto; Richard Page of Mr. Mister; Gregg Rolie of Santana and Journey fame; Todd Rundgren; and drummer Greg Bissonette. “I love playing with this band,” Ringo said in a statement, “and I can’t wait to get back out and play with them again.”

The tour kicks off in Rama, Ontario on June 6 and runs through July 19. On July 7, Ringo's birthday, he's planning a "Peace & Love" celebration, about which more details will be released later.
