Retro TV- The Midnight Special

A show that aired after Johnny Carson s Tonight Show on Friday nights. It featured live performances by the best bands of the 70s and early 80s." The Midnight Special" was a Friday night pop rock variety show on NBC. It ran for 9 years, ( 1972- 1981). The show was taped in front of a live studio audience. Wolfman Jack appeared each week as announcer and main host,  with a different guest host each week.
