The misadventures of a bumbling marine named Gomer Pyle.The show ran 5 years, 1964- 1969. There were 150 episodes. Gomer was a sweet but not too smart marine from May berry North Carolina who was stationed at camp Henderson in California. His innocence and low key demeanor often got him into trouble. Jim Nabors played the part of Gomer, while Sgt Carter  was played by Frank Sutton.
