Resident Evil is back with a new story line in Resident Evil Revelations 2 that will show you just what went on between Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 and will have you on the edge of your seats.

Barry Burton is back, much to fans' relief, and he's looking to rescue his daughter, Moira, in this new survival horror game by Capcom. Also in the game is another popular character, Claire Redfield who's there to help Barry find Moira. The game will also introduce a brand new character, Natalia Korda, who's "a little girl who has a strange power that allows her to sense enemies and hidden items." There are two new enemies that will be fighting against you in this game. The first is The Rotten whose one sole purpose in life seems to be to hunt down humans with their creepy bone-y bodies. The Rotten is closely followed by The Revenant who is basically just a bunch of dead humans sewn up to make one super creepy human.

The game will be split up into episodes that will be released weekly and cost you $5.99 each. There's good news for PlayStation Store members in North America--Resident Evil Revelations 2 will come out for you a day earlier than European territories, Steam or Xbox Live. Episode 1 will be releasing Feb. 17; Episode 2, Feb. 24; Episode 3, March 3; and Episode 4, March 10. As such, the PC and Xbox versions will arrive on Feb. 18, Feb. 25, March 4 and March 11 respectively.

On March 10, users will also be offered two additional options--you will be able to buy the Complete Season for $24.99 or the Full Retail Box Set for $39.99 which will include some awesome additional content. All episodes will include Raid mode content as well as two playable scenarios based on Claire and Moira or Barry and Natalia. The Complete Collection will include all four main episodes, as well as two additional spin off episodes and one additional Raid mode character--Hunk. The Full Retail Box Set will include all of that plus an additional Raid mode Character--Albert Wesker, four alternative costumes (one for each main character) and a Raid mode called "Throwback Stage Pack," which will feature four stages from previous Resident Evil titles. All content will be available to download separately as well.

You can check out some new screenshots below while you wait for February to roll around.

Barry's back, but do his previous appearances rank among the creepiest ever?
